When Eight World, a nonprofit organization that gives unconditional cash transfers to villagers in Uganda, Congo and , Ivory Coast, found themselves struggling with effectively reaching their audiences and facilitating donations across borders, they turned to Think Design for comprehensive digital solutions.

Through our nine-month partnership with Eight World, Think Design delivered a comprehensive digital transformation that addressed critical pain points and created new opportunities for growth. Our team conducted an extensive site audit focusing on both user experience and search engine optimization, identifying key areas for improvement.

Based on these findings, we executed a complete site redesign that dramatically enhanced navigation and user engagement.

A significant component of our work involved revamping Eight World’s case study presentation, transforming their slideshow to better communicate impact stories and engage potential donors. Recognizing the importance of the US market, we designed and developed a specialized iteration of the website specifically tailored to American audiences, incorporating cultural nuances and regional preferences.

Our collaboration extended beyond website development to include strategic consultation on social media strategy, helping Eight World establish a more cohesive and effective presence across platforms. Perhaps most importantly, we implemented a sophisticated multi-currency donation platform, removing a critical barrier that had previously limited contributions to Euro-based transactions. Throughout the engagement, our team also managed Eight World’s Google Ads Grant, optimizing campaigns to maximize visibility within the nonprofit advertising program.

The results of this comprehensive digital transformation were substantial and immediate. Eight World experienced a significant increase in website traffic, with users spending more time exploring content thanks to the intuitive navigation system we implemented. The clear calls-to-action strategically placed throughout the site increased conversion rates, guiding visitors toward meaningful engagement. Most notably, the multi-currency donation capability opened new funding streams from international supporters.
